Edit Barry
Partner, strategy

Edit is a creative consultant, a brand and content strategist, a message and information architect, and a fluent translator of brand strategy into creative execution who, at the beginning of every new relationship, tells people about her name. (It's Hebrew. It's pronounced "ee-DEET." It means "the best." She aims to live up to it.) A professional writer, Edit has written everything from taglines to tomes. A keen listener, she talks to everyone from students to donors to industry leaders before shaping ideas into messages that speak to every audience. Her sensitive ear and analytical mind prove themselves in spot-on deliverables that are relevant, authentic, and distinctive.

Since 2007, Edit has created effective print and web communications for clients such as The Blake School, Brooklyn College, DePauw University, Grace Episcopal Day School, The Lauder Institute, Pomona College, Tufts University, Wittenberg University and many others. From admission publications to websites to campaign case statements, her work is always thoughtful, precise, and true to the institution.

Edit earned a B.A. magna cum laude from Amherst College in English and interdisciplinary studies and an M.A. in political science from Johns Hopkins University. She is a member of Phi Beta Kappa.

ALLISON LE
Partner, design

As E&Aco's Creative Director, Allison develops logos, visual identity systems, and collateral that builds and bolsters brands across platforms. Those who work with her know her as a disciplined creative whose choices are as purposeful as they are aesthetically pleasing. Those who work beside her know that her desk is as uncluttered as her designs.

Over the past decade, Allison has developed brands for The Blake School, Brooklyn College, DePauw University, Lafayette College, and Middlebury College, and designed admission recruitment campaigns and fundraising campaigns for schools and nonprofits. She has also designed large-scale graphics and interactive installations for George Washington University, Virginia Tech, University of Houston, University of North Carolina, and the Maryland Food Bank. She has art directed photo shoots and press-checked print runs at locations from coast to coast. Whatever project she approaches, she uses typography, color, imagery, and layout to visualize the soul of a brand and bring it to life in the form of ink, paper, and pixels.

Allison earned a B.A. in design and art history cum laude from George Washington University, where she got her start as a graphic designer in the communications office.
